Purpose

To bring Eritrean professionals, entrepreneurs, and creatives together to learn from one another, share experiences, and celebrate our community’s progress. It’s a space to connect across locations and generations to highlight what we’re building in the diaspora, and to inspire the next wave of leaders to keep pushing forward.

Event Schedule

Diaspora Comedy Show @ The Gathering Spot
7:30PM - 10:00PM

Thursday, October 9th

EriSummit 2025 kicks off with the Diaspora Comedy Show, a laid-back night of stand-up featuring comedians from the Eritrean diaspora. Hosted in a fun, relaxed setting, the night is all about laughs, connection, and starting the weekend on the right note.

Friday, October 10th

Tezez Tapes @ The Gathering Spot
9:00PM - 12:00 AM

Tezez Tapes will take us on a musical journey with a special DJ set featuring Eritrean classics from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. With timeless hits, the set will bring back many classic sounds, from golden-era favorites to dance floor anthems, the night is all about celebrating Eritrean music and culture through the decades. Expect a mix of energy, rhythm, and memories that will keep everyone moving.

The EriSummit Conference is a day dedicated to sparking conversation, learning, and connection across the Eritrean diaspora. The program features talks on technology, health and wellness, culture, entrepreneurship, and storytelling, alongside interactive discussions and networking opportunities. Attendees will celebrate Eritrean music and heritage, and engage in panels that highlight the power of community-driven growth. With breaks for connection built throughout, the conference offers both inspiration and space to build meaningful relationships.

Saturday, October 11th

EriSummit Conference @ The National Press Club
12:00PM - 5:00PM

Saturday, October 11th

EriSummit Celebration @ Sachi
10:00PM - 3:00AM

Following the Summit, the Eritrean Celebration lights up the night with music, dance, and pure cultural joy. This high-energy party brings together community groups from across the diaspora — from the U.S., Canada, and Europe — for a night of rhythm, pride, and shared tradition. With DJs spinning timeless Eritrean sounds and dance floors filled with vibrant traditional fits, it’s more than a party — it’s a reunion. A celebration of our roots, our progress, and the collective energy that brings us together, strengthens connections across the diaspora, and highlights the pride we share in our culture and community.

Sunday, October 12th

Jebena & Build @ SOST
1:00PM - 4:00PM

We’re closing out the weekend with a special edition of Boon & Build — Jebena & Build — our signature brunch with a twist. Get ready for our crowd-favorite segment: “Pitch Your Friend.” Whether it’s love, laughs, or just good vibes, attendees will take the mic to hype up their friends and make the case for why someone in the room should be lucky enough to date them.

Monday, October 13th

Washington D.C.
9:00AM - 12:00PM

We’ll end the summit with a grounding group walk — a chance to reflect, reconnect, and recharge. Lomi in Motion invites attendees to step outside, move together, and carry the spirit of the summit forward with intention. Set against the backdrop of D.C., this guided walk is both a literal and symbolic closing — a moment to process what we’ve built, honor the connections made, and leave re-energized for what’s next.
